I have joined the Ning in Education site. I am going to fix my page with information about me. I am having a hard time finding a picture to upload. You can make your page any theme or color scheme you want. You can add photos and other information about yourself. I can add my blog to it also.

I have been looking at some of the resources found in it. The first resource I looked at was the different videos that were available to view. I am always looking for different ways to use technology in the classroom. The videos I watched gave instructions on how to use things like eduism. I had never heard of it before watching this video. It was neat how you could see the objects in 3-D on the smartboard. I like how you can find interesting things on the videos.

I have added some comments to a discussion on receiving free media from NBC. This part is sort of like the blog but not focused on one person. It is like having a conversation. That sometimes doesn’t get answered. It depends on who you are chatting with.

I have entered into several topics being discussed. I really like this part of the ning. There is a lot of resources being shared by members. You normally get a quick response back.

I have been checking out groups and have decided to join the group on elementary education.

I decided to look at ning and the other types that I could join. There is a very wide variety of different groups. I could see joining some of these. I really liked that there are so many to choose from. I looked through the religious ones then the ones on Methodist only.

I have become a member of the elementary group on Ning in Education. Most of my comments have been answered by Steve Hargadon. He is really good about answering all my questions. It usually takes the others a little bit longer to get back to me.
I check out his resource wiki. I really liked the voicethread site. I showed it to some of my fellow teachers.

Posted my first question. I will need to check for comments. I really like this Network site. I plan on joining on of the church sites for more of a social site. The education network is more of a professional interest to me. The gaining of contacts through this network will benefit me in my job and hopefully I will be able to help someone.
